The samples that I chose to examine for a well rounded digital citizen were the sites of Bob Hawkinson, Trisha Torrey, Brandon Menedlson, and Kim Mance. Out of the four people I chose to examine I found that the sites by Bob and Kim were the most well done. I believe that to be true because these two both had sites with a lot of animation and warming pictures of themselves. Kim's site had a very creative way of exploring with a bulletin board full of information and links to more information on herself. Bob's blog was very well put together with a very in-depth about me tab that was easily found on the top of his home page. He also did a good job of using a good picture of himself to portray his personality. The other two I did were by Brandon and Trisha. I found these sites to be less attractive to the eye. On each home page there is no picture of who the author is so you can't really get a connection to either of them in that sense. Brandon's in particular was very bland, all it had was a bunch of text which I see as being a turn off. The two examples I chose to use for the linkedin website were Deb Dib and Mark Beckford. I found that Mark's profile had more of a less professional look to it. His picture wasn't a picture that I would have of myself on a website such as this. Where as Deb's picture was very professional and if I were an employer I would definitely be more inclined to hire her. Both had very good profiles on each of their pages listing career accomplishments and things of that nature.
For my five criteria for college students to better their digital presence this is what I came up with.
1. Try not to have pictures of you and friends partying. These are definitely turn offs to future employers.
2. Try to have a facebook page that not only shows your interests but also shows your lifetime accomplishments.
3. Have a blog such as this where you blog regularly which will help get your name out there. This is also a great way to meet new people and share ideas.
4. Search for new ways to get yourself and information online whether be through blogs, linkedin, or other things of that nature.
5. Make sure statuses or tweets you make are positive portrayals of the person you are. Try not to use swear words or things that you would not want a younger person to read.
Some things that I could do to change my personal image.
-Go through pictures and make sure all of them are appropriate
-Have my profile list accomplishments

In class on Tuesday we were asked to make a symbol for our name and this is what I came up with. The "J" and "K" being my initials, the 41 is my basketball number. The green "X" is for Xbox because I spend a lot of my free time playing Xbox Live. The peace sign is simply for peace because this is something I still believe in and seems to be forgotten in todays society.

Photoshop
Today in class we used Photoshop and used it to edit a few pictures that we brought to class. I have used this program before but it was Junior year of high school so my skills were a little rusty to say the least. To the left is a picture of Wiz Khalifa which I altered from its previous appearance. I thought that changing it from its original color was a cool feature to be able to have.

Games
Me and my friend Zach were in a group when playing the mind games in class. We started out by playing the game where you had to find what was missing between two of the same paintings. This was actually a very difficult game because they chose to use very detailed paintings and decided to take out a very small feature from each making it nearly impossible. After we had finished playing that game we decided to try our hand at the trivia game that was given to us. As a team we did much better in this game when putting both of our brains together and worked as a team.

Footprint
Unfortunately I am unable to login to my email or my blackboard so I am unable to find the questions on our electronic footprint. But I do have my total from last class which was 6,646 megabytes. My actual footprint number was 181,198,983,500 and counting. Which, actually after looking at others was surprisingly low. I think that had video game consoles been included my number would probably have been a lot higher then it was seeing as I play a lot more of those then anything else that involves technology.
